LoJ Pictures and Other Stuffage!

So I've been feeling kinda ragged, blah, and frumpy lately. So I am declaring yet another Fabulous Month for August.
August 1st I will be doing one fabulous thing a day (small or large)and posting it on LJ. It should be a trip as usual.
Anyone care to join in again?

Also, I'm going to be taking commissions again in August. Which means the three people who have outstanding commissions? You'll have yours by Monday. Yes, even you Patrick.;)
I'm really trying to raise some money right now so I can make it to Rob's wedding in Canada without breaking the bank. I'm also open to doing costume pieces, garb, and such. Any bone you can throw would be appreciated. :)
...And the etsy store will be opening soon. Unfortunately I haven't had two seconds lately to take photos of my stock and put it up. Ugh! July! You're KILLIN' me with your wacky craziness!

ANYWAYS... The actual meat of the post, LoJ Pictures!
 

Above we have the gang of course. Left to right, Da Capt'n, Shing, Trish, Me (and my noisey boobs), and Jen.

  
To the Left we hwave what I was calling the ghost lady. She was pretty magnificent. Never said a word and just sort of wandered around. The next photo is the chandelier in the foyer which has the zodiac in stained glass around the bottom. I have to admit the new venue this year was FANTASTIC. It was beautiful and really spacious. You weren't elbow to elbow with people and there were plenty of places to sit. Not to mention it was a gorgous spot. It felt more like a masqurade and less like a Goth club this year. I really hope it stays in this spot for good

  
Here we are when we arrived. Shing and Jason popped up later on...Yes that is a birdhouse on her head. The whole thing was pretty awesome. And despite having no pereferal vision she functioned very well!


Shing is a little birdhouse in your soul.

 
We ran into Tabitha and Mark a little while later. We were both all done up in Bellydance garb so I wanted to take some photos with her of course. Its nice to see them back on the west coast! It was great catching up with them.:)

  
Its a little known fact that birdhouses attract dionsaurs. I LOVED the dino couple. They were adorable!

The Undead Man Servant was one of my favorites of the evening. And Queen Elizabeth and her posse showed up. LOVE me some Queen Elizabeth!

   
Robots! Stilt walker on the left The clockwork woman on the right. I LOOOOOVED the clockwork woman. Not only was her costume divine but she stayed in character all night. I was completely blown away by her movement.

LoJ is so popular that even Elisa Maza came out for it! Seriously, she came dressed as Elisa. When we asked her if she was Elisa she was overjoyed to find other Garg fans. She'll be at ComicCon in her costume. To the right, a guy in Where the Wild Things Are PJs hams it up for me. 

 
Jen rubs Buddah's Belly for luck. And Swamp Thing and I show everyone how friggin green we are.

Overall? A fantastic LoJ. Honestly the best one yet! Jen, Trish, and I are currently conspiring on costumes for next year...We have ideas..Maw hahahaa!

I knew the clockwork lady were from League of S.T.E.A.M but I didn't know that the ghost lady was. Awesome I LOVE those guys!

LoJ is really a blast. Hopefully you can swing it someday. Its worth it just to watch the costumes, alone.:)

Honestly, despite my lack of a REAL costume, this was one of the best times I've had at LoJ. What a great venue and it was great to share it with great friends (and bartenders who will give me free drinks for being cute!)
