Alas, I don't think any of my weird crafts translate into panel material, and I'll be a vendor so...=(

I can do a panel/workshop on sculpting and molding techniques for dummies!

Sculpey(and other clay based things), plaster...errr, fiberglass?

Maybe go through the process of making a latex mold from alginate to plaster to latex coat?

The con's had people do crafts panels before, and we can make an exception to the "must be at your table all day" thing if you're hosting a panel and you don't have someone to mind the table.

I'm going and would love to be involved to help in any way I can :D granted, its my first Gargoyles con and I'm kind of in the dark on everything, but I'm hard at work on art for donation and whatnot!

Hey Cindy! I've never been to Gathering before, but I was/AM a big fan....though these days I'm majorly into "Spectacular Spider-man" (the latest amazing thing in a series of amazing things many of the Gargoyles crew have done) I've been seriously toying with whether I want to attend or not (you guys are literally walking distance from my new apartment..a long walk, but still)...I don't know yet if I'll be available at the time (may have work, or interning...I'll know much better in the next few weeks) but I'd be interested in helping out....

I just don't know what I could do to help? I'm a second year animation grad student, so I could talk about animation, or do an analysis of some part of Gargoyles or Spider-man, from a technical animation perspective...

Something fun might be have people submit clips or vote on something and compile a 'top ten best animation moments in Gargoyles' and 'top ten worst animation moments', etc? Or....I don't know, really...

But if there's something I can do to help, please feel free to suggest it to me :) As you know I also do costuming (studied it for about two years at UCLA before switching to animation) and fine art in general....

The con lasts four days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday) and we offer daily memberships at the door, if that helps. Attend on whatever day(s) you're free. I won't kid anyone that a single-day membership is going to be a better deal for someone who can only be there one day than a full registration. The bulk of the "pro" panels with the "Gargoyles" and "Spider-man" cast and crew will be on Saturday and Sunday. If we are literally down the street, it'd be a shame to miss us. :)

Like Patrick said said, we'd be happy even if you day tripped it.:)
I think an analysis/discussion pannel on either Gargoyles of Spiderman would be super awesome! I really like that idea.
I am already running a costume pannel but we always welcome more if you'd like to teach one!

We also could use volunteers here and there for things. so if you are able to come to con and want to help I'm sure we can find something for you to do.:)
