Because I'm pretty sure I forgot to a couple times last night...O.o

Okay...in 3 weeks...We're having a wedding.
Let me repeat that.
IN THREE WEEKS.
MAX AND I ARE GETTING MARRIED.

What the hell?

Honestly? So far we're fine. No major crisis. Everything is on schedule.
No need to panic.
But Three Frickin' Weeks?!
Wow.

I'm extremely excited! And yes, stressed out and needing a nap and kinda wishing I had someone ELSE dealing with all the little tiny wedding stuff but I'm still excited!
I really hope I haven't been driving Max crazy with my erratic behavior. He's really been a big help. He takes on the things I throw at him to do and does them. He even does the laundry when I can't get to it. Thanks to Max, I have clean underwear!

Need to make fifteen bazillion calls tonight and finally talk to my mom about tables and other stuff (Which I've been putting off way too long). I also need to write the Wedding Program tonight..oh yeah..almost forgot about that one.

I kinda just want to go home today, make my calls, drink a bottle of wine, and sew. Capt'n's lady, Rebekka's birthday is Friday and I wanted to make her some garb for a present...and I want to experiment with an Italian Ren pattern I found online. But I probably won't have time to do that until...Umm..I donno..November? *L* I've been obsessing with wanting to make Italian Ren. dresses. I have all this random fabric that needs to be used.

Wedding crap comes first though...

I'm happy...but I want to tear my hair out..*L* Does that make ANY sense?
cinagel: (Fairy)
Looking for map fabric to use as backing a piece of foam board for the seating chart sign. I'm torn between these two:
This one:
http://www.jandofabrics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=map00026
And this one:
http://www.jandofabrics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=map00042

I kinda like the medieval Maps because its..well.medieval maps. But the other one has a bit more color.
Oppinions?

In other News..I am so tempted to buy this fabric and make myself a little summer dress of some sort. My Overies are making me think this way...

I haven't been posting much here this week because everything I've been doing is wedding related and I'm sure its starting to get extremely dull and annoying to you all.
But yesterday was awesome because the people at worth threw a small wedding shower for me which made me feel really appreciated. They ordered me cupcakes decorated like white roses which were both tastey and beautiful! I wish I had pictures.
My bosses rock. Have I mentioned that lately?

Today there is a lot on my plate. Need to run to the invite people to check out proofs for stuff, then my final dress fitting tonight with Ty, then Mark and Ty are coming over to our disaster of a apartment for dinner.
I'm going to appologize now for the complete wreck our place is. The carpets haven't been vaccumed for a while guys, please don't look down at the floor...or the couch...or the dead ant carasses that somehow got stuck to one of our mirrors...O.o
Oh yes! I am classy!!!

ANYWAYS, life has been great. I've been spending most of my nights organizing wedding stuff, trying to sketch (to no avail), and kinda dabbling back on an old RPG MUSH haunt, Fort Bloodshed which I thought was dead but made a mircaulous recovery and is doing well with active characters and plots again. Who knew? Anyone like old Historical Western RP? Check it out. http://www.bloodshed.org .
I need to get back to Hogwarts Express but its been crazy and hard to get the time to get back into the plots there since my connection times lately are sporadic. I miss my HE Buds! After the wedding I actually be able to pop on regularly and do some damage..I mean RP.

Anyways, Thats life in a nutshell.

I wouldn't mind another nappy poo though...
cinagel: (Wedding Bling)
I got home last night from the bridal shower of Dooooooom(tm).
Holy Crap....I got a LOT of gifts. O.o
I could only pack maybe 5 in my gigantor suitcase. Leelee and Ryan are going to drive the rest down when they come to the wedding. This is a good thing. It gives me time to go through the house and put a truck load of things into storage so we will have room for all our new stuff.
We ended up getting a TON of kitchen things..expensive kitchen things!
Max got a saugage stuffer and he is very happy...you can take that ANY way you like....Roy...Jen...Patrick...Stacy...Capt'n....everyone else on my friends list...
Anyways, I had a BLAST going home for the weekend. I got to play with my adorable and incredibly handsome nephew. He gets cuter and CUTER every time I see him! He likes to grunt like a bear and giggle a LOT. He doesn't cry when I hold him now and he loves to flirt with me with his little smiles... LOVE HIIIIIIIIIM!
I have a ton of photos of the shower thanks to Julie and hopefully I will be posting those AND the photos from my first Shower that Ty threw me as well in the next couple of days. So behind on all of that. OY!

So...the agenda for this week...because I KNOW you're all chomping at the bit for this.:
Buy Thank You Notes and start making those out
Start making Wedding cake topper (heehee..mini treasure chest)
Work on Wedding program
Bug the Hilton until I hear back from them. (Get to be relentless..I'm good at that)
Bug the officient until I get ceremonies to read though (She's good at getting back to me)
Work with Max on wedding licence stuffage
fax deposit info to Bucas
Buy storage boxes...a lot of them
Vaccume Apartment
Clean apartment too because it really is gross these days
Pet kitty

On a refreshingly different note...sketch commissions are almost done. YAY! I will hopefully be posting up what I have done by next week sometime. Sorry I've been dragging my heels on these. Life has been hectic. The GOOD part is I managed to get some down time/sketch time in while I was home for the shower.

The weather is cooling down..this means we can FINALLY TURN OFF THE FREAKIN FANS WE HAD RUNNING SINCE JUNE!!! SO excited about this! Its the little things that make me happy.
cinagel: (AAAHHH!)
So much to do...So freakin' little time.
ANXIETY!!!!!

Anyways

TO DO LIST-
See Doctor today (Horray! Finally got an appointment!)
Call Dad (PRIORITY!!!)

Call cake people about cake decor.
Buy rehearsal dinner invites (PRIORITY!!!)
Send out video guy contract finally. (PRIORITY!!!)
Fax info to rehearsal dinner place (PRIORITY!!!)

Order place card frames.
Email wedding program info to invite people.
Get my ass packed for my trip tomorrow. (or go nude. PRIORITY!!!)
Try to catch breath because I am feel super anxiety ridden right now. (yeah...PRIORITY!!!)

Yeah, not sure if its the coffee intake or the PMS coming on or what but I woke up in a state of cat like readiness. Just have so much to do! ARG! And trying to get as much done as humanly possible. I probably wouldn't be so uptight if I wasn't hopping on a plane tomorrow to go back north for a Bridal Shower. Don't get me wrong..Bridal Showers = AWESOME!!1! But I wanted to get a bunch of things done before I left if possible. Hopefully I can put a dent in my to do list today.

Warning to all...chances are for the next month...about 90% of my LJ entries will be wedding related in some way...you have been warned. I will try to tone it down though. ;D

And because people had asked me in the past..yup...we have a wedding website.

Feel free to look at it if you wanna.

Okies..back to work.
cinagel: (kitty love)
Kinda on a slight coffee high.
One of the SSRs went and got me a latte and I DOWNED that sucker in record time. Now I am awake...REALLY awake.
Last night was pretty cool overall. They did manage to let me free for a little while so I was able to snap some photos of the event which was fun. The only things that kinda sucked were a-Getting chained to the front desk and having to sit and do nothing for a LOOOOOONG while (hence the LJ post made while at a black tie event. Which only shows that I'm kinda trashy. O.o) and b- the complete lack of comunication and organizations for us VSRs/Volunteers. For example; I should have been moved to another area half way through the front desk shift but the coordinators completely forgot I was there. At least I was inside. One of our girls was stuck outside in the wind, sick as a dog, and wearing a tiny cocktail dress. They remembered her about 30 minutes before the end of the night. Unfortunately though that was the nature of the beast since they were EXTREMELY short handed this year for volunteers.
I am seriously considering talking to the events people about getting a volunteer coordinator for the event. Someone who strictly deals and communicates with the volunteers, fills them in on their jobs, and is the go to person for them. Its such a HUGE event that all the supervisors (Membership, Events, Accounting, etc...) are so busy trying to get everything going smooth on their end that they forget that the lower people on the totem pole haven't been in on the months of planning they have been. I'm also willing to take this job on. Hopefully it will be a positive response when I bring it up. I really think having a volunteer go to person will be a BIG help to keep the night running smoothly.
But our staff is smart and have have great poker faces. The guests had no clue about some of the chaos behind the scenes (credit card machines busting, Volunteers completely lost, misplaced...everything) I am really proud to be part of a staff that just knows how to handle crisis in a calm, quick, and controlled manner. They ran a beautiful event that everyone enjoyed, even us VSRs who were kinda clueless. We made our own fun and I had a blast chatting to some of the high mucky mucks, wandering about....oh and I got a lot of desert...that makes any night pretty awesome.

Working Down Town today. BTW, anyone who is in SD or is visiting SD in the next few months, DEFINITELY come see the exhibit in our Downtown location: Human/Nature: Artists Respond to a Changing Planet. I had an opportunity to check it out today. Its really beautiful and extremely facinating. We haven't been getting a lot of attendance for our Down Town locations lately so I'm really trying to get people to see this. I think its worth the ticket price, especially if you come during a free tour time.
Also..ages 25 and Under get into the museum for free...so..*hint hint young people and families*
Of course this exhibit has one room dedicated to sounds of the jungle/rainforest/wildlife...and its so relaxing I find myself completely zoning out. O.o

My bridal shower my mom and leelee are throwing for me is this Saturday. WOO! I'll be heading up to No. Cal on Thursday and staying the whole weekend (Coming home on Sunday). I'm so stoked! And I need to find something to wear that fits and doesn't look like a cat slept on it.

I really want to get started on putting together some steampunk stuff. I was inspired by these boots I bought myself:
http://www.cathyjeanshoes.com/9256.html
These boots...are teh sex. They're really fabulous and very comfy. I also found out they come in brown so I may need to order a brown pair in the future. So now I have one piece to build off of. I'm using the boots as a jumping point for costume ideas. I have a few. The thing I lack is time and energy. Well hopefully soon.
Oooh..I should put together an outfit for my shower that goes with those boots...*muses*

Photo dump to come soon hopefully.
cinagel: (Wedding flowers)
Lazy Lazy day....Of cleaning up the house because OMG its Horrible in here!
Lots o' Laundry to do among other things...like vaccume the fly carcasses off the rug...long story.
Gotta go pay the rent too.
And I need to slam out commissions because I am WAY behind.
I need another vacation.
ANYWAYS...
Had another dress fitting last night. All that's left on the bugger are the sleeves! WOOO! The Seamstress did an amazing job on fitting it. Hooray for making my waist look tiny! I really love my wedding dress. Have I mentioned that? It LOVE it! Especially because it has a bustle..and bustles make Cindy happy. Its amazing what a beautiful dress does to a woman. I found myself doing the "Princess walk" While wearing it. You know, Stick Straight posture, wrists slightly out at your side, small dainty steps. Of course thats really the ONLY way I can walk in that thing since its not the most flexible garment. But I feel beautiful in it, and that's what counts...damnit. Did I mention I have a Bustle?
The count down begins...About a Month and 2 weeks until the insanity starts. I'm actually pretty excited about it all.:)

Going to take that benefit shift at the museum after all. Good money, I get to dress up, I got some of the events people out of a bind, and I've never been to a fancy Shamancy benifit before so it will be an interresting experience. They're putting me to work at the silent auction. I have NO clue what I'll be doing but eh, I'm a fast learner.

I hae a crap load of work today, I should sign off here and attempt to get it done.
cinagel: (zombie Luv)
Finally desided to post a few of these.
Ty aka [livejournal.com profile] rogue_78 took these great photos of me and Max about...holy crap was it really two years ago? Wow.O.o
Anyways, she did an amazing job on these and I took way too long to show them off. These are my favorites. Or most of my favorites. She took a ton and I LOVED a ton but I thought it best to only torture with a few. ;)

I think this one is my absolute favorite. I have it framed in our place.

cinagel: (That's Nice Kitty!)
Oooookaaaaaayy....
Not much happening other than the usual wedding madness. I'm doing my best to keep myself from stressing out. So far I haven't gone over the deep end. ;)
Invites are here and addressed! Now to just stick the damn stamp on them all and get them in the mail. I think I can have them sent out by tomorrow *crosses fingers*.
And Sept War is this coming weekend. O.o
I really haven't given that a moment of thought unfortunately. And unfortunately its going to be a very quick stop at war for me since I can't get the time off (Going up Thursday night. Leaving Saturday Afternoon. Missing the Saturday girls night again...Sad Cindy.:( .
Trying desparetely to get the house clean before I go. Max is being an angel and cleaning up the kitchen and taking down the recycling today while I'm at work. Today I can hopefully get the laundry started, clean the cat box, clean out the fish tanks, and work on Rebekkah's garb. I think I can do this. The garb will only take a little while so that I can zip through...its the OTHER stuff that's time consuming.

Max, Ty, Mark, and I went on yet another cake tasting adventure. Unfortunately the original cake people backed out of their deal with the Hilton so we had to go with the new company the Hilton struck a deal with. They're good! I think Max doesn't like them as much since he was in love with the original cake company but I like these guys and they do really beautiful visuals on cakes. I think if anything, we'll have a very pretty cake. And tastey too!

I did get a chance to mellow out this week over at [livejournal.com profile] wyngdlyon's place at her firepit Friday. I pigged out on Chicken Mole and smores...not all together though.

And thank you to those who are interrested in taking my $5 sketch special. I appreciate it! I'll be doing this until...well..probably sometime in mid September. :)

Joined a few LJ Stempunk communities. Yes...the obession continues.
cinagel: (Gryffindor)
Ugh..I am So ANTSY this morning.
I kinda want to be anywhere but work right now. No reason, just have other things I want/need to do.
Ah well, least I like the job and I'm getting paid.

Another busy weekend ahead of me. Trying to get LOTS of wedding stuff done and out of the way. And I'd like to attempt sewing if possible. Sleep would also be nice to get if possible. There are a LOT of things I'd like to do if possible!

Stuff to do. STUFF TO DO!
-Call Buccas
-Call Florist...again.
-Cake tasting...again...on Saturday...long story.
-Final payment due to photographer.
-Buy aquasafe for poor fishies
-change poor fishies tanks
-Buy labels for invites
-buy stamps for invites
-start addressing invites.O.o
-attempt to make doctors and destist appointments

I'm still doing the $5 sketch special for anyone who's interrested! It will just be simple non background character sketches. $1 extra for each additional character in the sketch.
Trying to get a little mad money saved for my honeymoon.:)

It would be kinda nice to blog about something exciting for a change *L*. Ah well, tis life and the way of the universe!
cinagel: (Wedding Bling)
I have AWESOME! AMAZING! FANTASTIC! girlfriends here in So Cal I hope you all know.
My Bridal Shower on Saturday was all kinds of fun and goofiness. It really was awesome to have not only the ship girls (Beth, Katie, Ty, Rebekka, PJ, Lady A, and Colleen who is honnorary crew) there but also having Jen, Trish, and Kyt take the trek to brave L.A. traffic and come down for the insanity.
Many many MANY thanks go to Ty for putting it together. She went above and beyond anything that she needed to do. We had flowers, cake, balloons, and of course great food at Creole Cafe. I really wanted to cry when I came in with how beautiful everything looked. I was really touched. :)
And you know its a geek bridal shower when the gifts consist of Borders and Barnes and Noble gift cards, LoTR playing cards, Lush, and a box full of steampunk jewelry findings. HEEE!
The Booty:
Lady A gave me stationary, a B & N card to buy me some books on how to do scroll work and illumination when I begin my lessons with her, and the LoTR cards.
PJ gave me the bath tub caddy I wanted so badly and the white wedding bomb from Lush I've been curious about.
Colleen gave me the box of Steampunk goodness because she's an enabler.
Katie got both me and Max a gift by buying the food mill for him and a travel hair dryer (SO need one of these!) for me.
Beth got me the kitchen canisters we desparately need to organize the kitchen.
Rebekka got me a Borders Gift card that I plan to burn through this week. ;)
Ty Threw the damn shower! And she got me a really great smelling candle that I want to light so badly...but its too damn hot!
Trish, Jen and Kyt were just awesome and came down for the insanity.:)
Unfortunately that's all I remember. Did I miss anything? I don't know if I have a list. O.o
the end of the night, some of the girls still about at the end of the shower came over for a night of Champagine and hilarity. The apartment is still trying to recover from the carnage.

I have a few pictures, but not too many. Thank you Jen for taking a few with my Camera! I'll be waiting for Ty and Jen to toss me the photos they took and I'll be posting them here to share the insanity.
It was a great time. I really have amazing friends.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! =D
cinagel: (Wedding Bling)
Thanks everyone for both the advice and for volunteering. I really appreciate it and it's taken a load off my mind.:)

Mark, Kettil, Jen (offering her sprogs), and Trish Thank you SO much for offering! I will be insanely grateful if you could help set up during cocktail hour. I'll talk to the hotel about when you guys can sneak in if you're still up to it!

I feel a LOT better. Most of the anxiety is gone now. :)
cinagel: (Wedding flowers)
Slight delema..
Not a big one, but one I need to figure out the answer to. Luckily I asked ahead of time about this.

So for our wedding we have table place settings, favors, Table names, and such for each table as well as a guest book to set up, sketches in frames, and other such small little things for the reception.
The delema is the hotel will not set this up since its not in the contract.
The florist cannot do this either since they will be dealing with the flowers and such. Now I did know this going in so this isn't like a huge WTF suprise for me at all or anything.
But now with the wedding date looming ever closer, I need to find someone who will do this. And this isn't a little job..we're expecting about 180 people at this wedding since my family is OMGHUGE!!!

The hotel guy said I could hire a wedding corrdinator to do this but frankly, there has been enough money spent on this wedding and I rather not shell out more for someone to set up little place settings. Its still an option though if in a pinch. Kinda an important detail I shouldn't completely skimp on.
I rather not have the wedding party do it since they're more than likely already going to be running around crazy like for the ceremony. And I'm not sure if that is even a job the wedding party should do. I don't want to stress them out.
I could ask a friend but it feels kinda tacky asking someone who I invited to set things up and miss cocktails. I don't want to overstep my bounds.
And my parents are right out because I know the stress level that will be involved for them.
I know that Max and I sure as Hell can't do it.
I have the option of asking my neighbor Jim if he could help since he does wedding corrdinating for a living. But he's not sure if he can make it to our wedding as a guest. Also, there's that tackiness factor there that makes me feel weird about asking him. Though I can ask him about the situation. He may have some solutions.
My sister had one of her artsy friends do this for her since she made all the place settings and such. I'll be putting together my own so its a little different of a situation.

So yeah..a bit of a delema. Any suggestions?
Please no "Well the hotel should do it, those fuckers!" Suggestions. Like I said, I knew this going into it. Just something I thought of NOW and thank god not two weeks before hand.

Okay, another thing for me to lust over.
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=13868575
My hair is long again...I desire hairsticks of this nature.
Esty...its a dangerous place.

Kinda dreading this Thursday since I have to venture over to JT to drop off costumes from the show that will not go away. Unfortunately two of these items went missing so I'll probably have to shell out money for them. Ugh. I'm kinda annoyed. But I'm thinking of it like pulling off a bandaid. As soon as its overwith I no longer have to deal with them ever again...and I will dance the dance of joy.

I bought a mountain bike from one of my co-workers. She is going to Europe for a few months and wanted to get rid of things she didn't use anymore. Its a GREAT high end bike that she gave me for a steal! Going biking with Max this Thursday after my JT appointment of doom. Yay Bike riding!!!

I REALLY want to get some sewing done. Thinking of slamming some garb together for the heck of it since I have some nice looking yellow fabric. Its screaming Medieval gown at me loudly. Capt'n's girlfriend Rebekka is in need of some garb for September war. I hopefully will be putting some stuff together for her this weekend. I need me's a project! I'm going a bit nutzoid without one.
Bought a cute vest pattern to make me a vest or two. Its a trend I always loved and now that vests are back in style I'm so making one or two...possibly in some form of tweed or what ever I happen to have around.
I found out my sexy fits-me-like-a-glove steampunk vest I made last halloween is now way too big for me. I am both happy and sad about this. That was a dang cute vest I made, damnit! But Hell, I lost me some inches!

Tonight Ty and I go for our next fitting for bridal stuffage. VERY excited to see how the dress looks so far! The seamstress made slevecaps for the dress and I'm really curious what they're going to look like. I really am not a fan of strapless on myself. I always looks top heavy. So hopefully the sleevecaps will solve that problem.

SO EXCITED!!!

Hopefully the invites will be done by next week *Crosses fingers* I'm so behind on sending them out. :/

Wedding shower on Saturday..Holy Cow! So Stoked to see mah Maiden Ladies! And others as well! AND we get yummy creole food at Creole Cafe. YAY CREOLE!!!
Still need to get my plane ticket for the shower my mom and Leelee are throwing for me in No Cal. Just requested the day off for that weekend.

Wow..still so much to do!
cinagel: (Wedding Bling)
Well I was going to go in for my wedding dress fitting tonight but my seamstress called and is very sick. So Ty and I will be reschedualing for Monday.
Bummer! I wanted to put my dress on again. *L*
Ah Well.
Instead I'm heading down to kinkos to print up a few engagement photos for a guestbook thingy I'm making.
I'll probably do a few other misc. things wedding wise too.

And Trish's LJ entry reminded me that my Bridal shower is OMGNEXT SATURDAY?! Really? Ty, am I wrong? Holy crap! Anyways, very excited for that.:)

I put in my "touching base" emails and phonecalls with all my vendors. I haven't heard back from anyone except the hotel but the Week be still young!..Sorta.

Still on my steampunk obsession. I'm thinking of giving a whirl some clothing, see it it suits me or what I can make that will amuse me...or if I'll look like a 32 year old retard. Eh, I'm still young and I still got a nice bod so I should do it while I can, right?
...Right?
Am I acting like a retard?
cinagel: (Wedding flowers)
My two bosses desided to throw a wedding shower for me in September at the museum.

I feel special. :)
cinagel: (Wedding flowers)
Holy Crap for Crap!
I'm getting married in two months?!
When did this happen!? Was anyone going to tell me?!

Thats currently the mantra in my head now that we've entered August.

The good part is I got a LOT done ahead of time. The nerve wracking part is having to follow up with everyone and make sure I haven't been forgotten.
I keep trying to go over things in my mind. Am I forgetting anything? What HAVEN'T I done? Etc. etc...
Its like stage managing a show that's staring all your relatives. O.o

I'm excited and giddy and nervous as holy Hell!

The reality set in when I realized that Ty is thowing me a shower in a few weeks...CRAP! TY! I need to send you Chelle's address! O.o

So to keep myself from exploding I am making to do lists...which you will see constantly and it will probably bore the hell out of you BUT STILL!

Things to do this week
-Call Florist with extra flower additions
-Check out invite proofs on Saturday
-Bug the hell out of the video guy for a frickin' contract
-Call Bucca's and reserve rehersal dinner room
-Matte engagement photos for guest book (or at least buy the damn things)
-Bug Officiant for ceremonies
-Order frame placemat thingies
-Contact Peter for make-up guy contact info

Up from the depths, thirty stories high, breathing fire! Her head in the sky! BRIDEZILLA!!!!!
cinagel: (Wedding flowers)
Well it was a productive weekend at least. Pretty productive for staying home the entire time.
Wedding stuff accomplished!
Booked Quartet - CHECK!
Got Invites to the printer - CHECK!
Emailed Video Guy back - CHECK!
Got Gigantoid box of favors in - CHECK!
Picked up Veil - CHECK!

So I am on track. I feel a little weight lifted off my shoulders. Not a huge ton but enough that I can breathe again. I still have a ton left to do but its all the little detail stuff that I ENJOY doing.

Also got started...and restarted...twice...the project of doom that Jen suckered me into for comiccon. *L* Eh, it'll be fun. And I
I'm looking forward to seeing the gals, Seth, and Sammy at comiccon this week. Granted, I'm not off work at all this week but at least I get Friday and Saturday free to mess around with everyone. And if any friend going to Comic Con ends up in La Jolla On Thurs or Sun and wants to come see the museum, say hi to the slightly frazled looking red head at the front desk!

Been devling even deeper into the realms of steampunk. Now I want/need to go to any local flea market, buy old watches, and take them apart for costuming purposes. I ended up sketching and inking out my design for the OMGINSANITY!!!1! steampunk costume I want to make. I got Max so excited than now he wants in and wants to help me with this. He also came up with a really cool Steampunk "frogman" idea that I need to put on paper. This will include building a diving bell helmet for him. And I need to work with Ty and get her ideas for her time traveler costume sketched out...and I need to plot with Colleen as well....this is getting insane. I've created a monster!!!
But at least I get to wear goggles so its all good.
Any excuse to wear goggles for me.
....hmm..maybe I should wear my steampunk goggles to ComicCon.

Speaking of Comic Con again..
Still debating if I want to wear my Eowyn costume one of the days I'm there. I worked so freakin' hard on that sucker, I really should show it off more. The only thing holding me back is feeling weird being the only person in my group in costume (Full wigged costume at that). And if I'm going to be comfy walking around in a wig and gown...of course I can always change when I get annoyed with it.
*L* Ah well, I'll figure it out when I get there.

Anyways, Looking REALLY forward to going home, and taking a very nice long lush bath and turning my brain off.
Its been a crazy busy Sunday today.
cinagel: (Beat)
So yesterday was kinda a bummer at work because of one person with a severe personality disorder.
Max made it better when I got home. He treated me to burgers and milkshakes at Ruby's then took me to go see WALL-E afterwards.
WALL-E was FANSTASTIC! I enjoyed every minute of that movie. It put me in a much better mood afterwards. And yes, I cried during it. It was incredibly sweet. It was also a beautiful film both visually and with the writing. I highly recommend it.
So the day ended very nicely.

I also had a kick ass weekend. Jen came down to hang out which was full of win and awesome. We went to the Iron Maiden 4th of July BBQ and ate WAY too much briscut. On man, it was SO GOOD. We watched fireworks from Capt'n's drive way (and a car accident as well. O.o Luckily no one was hurt and everyone walked away fine). Then Jen and I headed home and sat up BSing until we passed out. The next day Max and I twisted her arm enough to go to Baja Betty's for their brunch special. YUM! Jen then had to head out to her family's place so we said our farewells...and she needs to come back down and visit again;) Ty and I caught up afterwards and bought our bra's for the wedding. BTW, big busted ladies in SD? If you ever need good bras or support garments The Enchantress is THE best place to go! the strapless I got there is comfortable AND holds me up well! We then headed over to Demetrios to go our first fittings. I was stunned that my dress was almost a perfect fit. They had to do the hem and some minor adjustments to it is all. Ty looked Fantastic in her bridesmaid dress even if it was big. They did a good job with the pinning so I'm pretty sure it will look very nice when its all finished.

Unfortunately, Mr Max is having his wisdom teeth removed tomorrow. So tonight I'll be making Jello and other mooshy foods for him to consume while he's numb and incapacitated. Everbody loves Jello.

Otherwise, kinda tired today and brain dead. The coffee also made my stomache a little off but eh? What can ya do?

I'm feeling way too happy over finding my shoes for the wedding. I think I'm just happy I found a pair of heels that are so comfy to walk in and are cute too.
