Trying to say upbeat but its not easy. Coughing my guts out which makes it feel like I'm swallowing glass when I'm NOT coughing my guts up..oh..and cramps because being sick isn't enough, I have to start my triumph of womanhood today...crap.
The good thing is that work has been great and everyone coming in has been very sweet, kind, and pleasant.

So to try and take my mind of the pain in my throat and the pain in my overies (Oh YAY being a woman!) here are some pictures from May War!

SCA Tested...Dan Approved!

So Above is all that remains of the dayshade Dan built. In his defense, he build it in a hurry and it was just too damn windy this war for it to stand. So he'll be reengineering the whole damn thing and putting it up again next year. I got faith in good ol' Doodle. He's also wearing the pants I made him.

The new Bed Max made for us. I really should have taken photos of it before it was made up because you can't see the great woodworking he did on it. Seriously. It was beautiful...and comfy. The old bed has been retired to our bedroom and slept on every night.

Of COURSE I took photos of banners and pavilions!! Why WOULDN'T I? Some sweet looking camps near The Maiden.

Ty'd freshly approved SCA device...unfortunately I was an idiot and painted the horse head pointing in the wrong direction. Luckily no one got pissed ;).

To the Left is Ellyn who is now a new member of the Iron Maiden. Ellyn is an incredible lady. Her garb is incredible. The two of us are hopefully going to get together soon and make fitted Gothic dressed. We've both been dying to try it but never had anyone to help. On the Left is Ellyn's dog...who is also now a new member of the Iron Maiden, Beans. Love Da Beans!!
