Thanksgiving Feast!

So This Thanksgiving is going to be the first one Max and I had at our place. Usually we either visit my family or we go over to Mark and Ty's which is always fun and awesome. But both us us figured eh, we have all this cooking and dining stuff for the wedding. We should use it!
What started as a small-ish dinner has turned Epic. EPIIIIIC!
Its awesome. Watching Max get ready for Thanksgiving is like watching a little boy hop up and down on Christmas Eve. My little foodie guy is going all out for this. And he's having a ball.
Unfortunately since my cooking skills are mildly lacking, I desided to designate myself to head cleaner of the house....and trust me...there is a LOT of clean up, especially after Max the cooking cuisenart gets done in the kitchen (I found onion skins in the bathroom this morning. How? O.o)
Looks like most of the ship is turning out for this which is awesome. We're making this a Pot Luck event so there's going to be a LOT of food. My main concern though is where the Hell am I going to PUT all these people! Those of you who have been to our place know its not what you'd call a "Party" apartment. Its pretty tiny. So Max and I are going through the logisitics on where to put people AND the countless amounts of food they will bring.
This may get tricky!

The Cafe People RULE

So we have this wonderful gourmet style cafe at our museum.
Every once in a while I pop over to the museum cafe to pick up some mint tea in the winter time. It always give me a pick me up and keeps me warm in the drafty lobby. Today I didn't since I've been relatively busy today.

One of the cafe people came into the museum and handed me a nice hot mint tea and a big cookie telling me its my tea time and I should have a treat today.

They're so good to me.
